Political coalitions and alliances are been formed in the country in preparation of the next general election. This coalitions brings together different presidential candidates in a move to produce a stronger candidate.
Today Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana and other presidential candidates have formed The Eagles Grand National Alliance ahead of 2022 polls. This new coalition brings together five political parties. The parties includes Muungano party, Angano party, Daraja party, Empowerment and Liberation party and Justice and freedom party.
Speaking during a press briefing in Nairobi today, the party officials said that they will produce one strong presidential candidate in the coming general election. They said that Kenya needs a new face of leadership and they are determined in bringing change in the country's politics.
Makueni governor Kivutha Kibwana responded to this sentiments on his official Twitter account. He said that the new political coalition is a leadership movement based on Godly values and principles. He urged people of faith to stand out and be counted.
Gospel musician Reuben Kigame is part of the Eagles Grand National Alliance. The Influential musician has already declared his presidential bid.
