The 2022 general election has been predicted to be one of the very competitive in Kenya's elections history. At the moment one can simply declare that the seat is a two horse race between the deputy president and the ODM leader Hon Odinga.
Although this are not only the possible candidates. We have also the OKA team that is yet to declare its candidate. Considering the current popularity of the deputy president it is very hard on the other presidential candidates to win against him in the 2022 August general elections.
According to political analysts there is a way in which the leaders can make sure they win the election despite the current influence of the deputy president. On of the ways is for the OKA principals to swallow their pride together with the ODM leader and form a very strong coalition that can possibly have a blessing of the president. But again despite forming the coalition there are only two possible leaders who can be flag bearers that can be sure of delivering the win.

In case Raila Odinga or Mudavadi becomes the flag bearer then automatically due to the love Kenyans have for them they might deliver the win. But in the case of Wetangula, Gideon and Kalonzo, the three can not have the muscles and the convincing power to bring home the victory. In any case the current political variations place Ruto at a better place to win the 2022 elections.
