Mudavadi says he heard Rafael Tuju claiming that Deputy president William Ruto was paid in 2013 to support president Kenyatta. Mudavadi said he has never been paid to support any politician in the country. But if some of the leaders are claiming so, it seems Azimio leader Hon. Raila Odinga has been paid by president Uhuru come August general polls.
Speaking on an nterview with a local radio station in Vihiga County on Thursday morning July 28th, Mudavadi said, "I have heard Tuju claiming that Ruto was paid by Uhuru to support him in 2013. I would want to ask, when I stood with Raila had I been paid?. Mudavadi asked
"When Raila has now become Uhuru's project was he paid?, I don't know. But if they are saying that people are being paid then it seems Raila has also been bought." Mudavadi added as he clarify a question asked by one of the listeners of PAG Radio, Nyang'ori.
However, Tuju claims that William Ruto issued demands for president Uhuru Kenyatta to meet before supporting him. Tuju has claimed that President Kenyatta was forced to part with a huge amount of money to get support from Dp Ruto in 2013.
Speaking during an interview at Inooro FM on Wednesday July 28, Tuju alleged that William Ruto also tried the same on ODM party lead by Hon. Raila Odinga. Tuju stated that the Deputy president takes everything business that is why he is deluded that everyone can be bought with money.
"The DP before joining Uhuru Kenyatta had tried the same number on ODM party. It's only that ODM could not raise that amount of money. For him(Ruto), everything is about money and that is why he is deluded that everyone can be bought with money," Tuju stated during the interview.
