Muranga County Women Representative Purity Wangui Ngirici's post has triggered online debate as she hinted what she expected from anti-Tangatanga's brigade hours after United Democratic Alliance party candidate for Rurii ward declared winner in the just concluded by-election.
MP Ngirici is among the frontline UDA allied team who have been drumming up support for Deputy President William Ruto's "Hustler nation" which on May 18 won the Rurii mini poll.
In her post, Ngirici hinted that she expects a press conference from Suna East Member of Parliament Hon Junet Mohamed and his counterparts to challenge the UDA victory.
The lawmaker's statement has triggered mixed reactions from fans who lauded the election results in the favour of Tangatanga allied candidate, Francis Muraya.
Fans claimed that the "deep state" together with the Cerelac Alliance team are in a tough competition with the United Democratic Alliance party which has since demonstrated its strength ahead of the 2022 general elections.
