Kenyans are waiting with bated breath to see what happens in the country's election year of 2022. The presidential election isn't the only race that gives political hopefuls goose bumps. Politicians also fear the MCA, senatorial positions, and gubernatorial positions.
Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru and DP William Ruto's close allies are among the top leaders planning to run in the region's gubernatorial election. However, only one woman, according to Makau Mutua, has a chance to outshine Mt Kenya, and even Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria fears her.
Martha Karua, according to Makau Mutua, was not raised in a soft environment, so endorsement will not work for her. She can stand on her own, and deputizing any of the presidential candidates will be a win-win situation. With the 2022 general elections approaching, if Martha Karua runs for governor, Ann Mumbi Waiguru and United Democratic Alliance ally Hon. Purity Ngirici are out.
