Sabina Chege Reveals The Tough Decision She Made On The Last Day Of Campaigns

The final day for Kenyan politicians to conduct their final political campaigns was Saturday, August 6. In the final days of the campaign, Sabina Chege, who has served as the Murang'a women's representative for the past five years, came out to deliver her parting message.

She acknowledged that Kenya's thrilling and rigorous campaign season was coming to an end.

She admitted that, like other Kenyans, she experienced a moment of reflection, personal growth, and delight as they decided which sides best reflected their hopes for Kenya.

Sabina Chege also reflected on the difficult choice she had to make about her political career. Sje disclosed that she had made the difficult decision not to run for any electoral office in Murang'a, where she was the women representative. She claimed that this was because she would subsequently be given the honor of being considered as one of Raila Odinga's potential running partners for the Azimio presidential nomination. Martha Karua, who is currently Raila's running mate, earned the job she was vying for. She competed for the role alongside other leaders such Ali Hassan Joho, the deputy party leader of ODM, and former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka of wiper.
