William Samoei Ruto was elected the fifth President of the Republic of Kenya in last year's general election defeating his fierce rival and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga by a small margin.
During campaign period, President Ruto came up with a narrative of hustlers versus dynasties and millions of kenyans began to love him as he was seen a saviour for the struggling kenyans.
He promised to do away with creation of additional seats for politicians but instead will fight to improve the living standards of 'mama mboga', bodaboda riders and others low income kenyans.
However, since taking over as the President of kenyans, he has awarded many of his loyalties and other poll losers in the last general election with various seats with recent being the positions of Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS), which he added 27 more seats from 23 making a total of 50 to accommodate more politicians.
This has not gone well with a section of kenyans who has said they feel neglected by the President given that he had promised to deal with economy and hustlers first instead of creating more seats.
