Deputy President William Ruto is leaving no stones unturned ahead of the August elections. This was evident on Tuesday whereby Ruto held successful rallies in different parts of Coast region including Mombasa and Kwale County. In both counties, the second in command pulled huge crowds

This is more so in Lungalunga, Kwale County where Ruto received warm reception despite the fact that darkness had already taken over. Area residents could be seen listening attentively to DP Ruto who was accompanied by several Kenya Kwanza allied leaders.
In his message, DP Ruto has thanked the area residents for turning out in huge numbers to hear him out as well as the bottom up economic model. DP Ruto is working around the clock to turn tables in Coast region, an area ODM party leader Raila Odinga has been enjoying dominance in the last three general elections.
However, some Kenyans have warned DP Ruto about conducting night rallies more so in the coastal area due to security reasons
