Another Mount Kenya ally has send a bold message to Raila on Mount Kenya votes. Wahome Wamatinga who is an aspirant for the Senatorial seat claimed that the Mount Kenya region is actually people who are very good in keeping their promises. He added that history is being redefined where the sons of former presidents are grouping on one side and hustlers, sons of peasants are grouping on the other side.
Wohome said that in a game of numbers, there are always people who are more equal than others and that Mwangi Wa Iria, Justin Muturi have not been able to manifest themselves in the Mount Kenya region. Wamatinga said that as UDA allies they are not afraid of rigging but they must point out that the mandate of managing the elections of this country is solely given to the IEBC.
He said that they felt like with Matiang'i trying to bring administration on board is something they must condemn. Wamatangi said that anybody who is exiting politics and tries to dictate to people what to do, he is doomed to fail. He added that Raila could have had a better chance was he not backed by Uhuru.
