To ensure that the general public do not view the handshake as an instrument which was used to ensure calm in the country, the incumbent president has high chances of changing come 2022 to support his deputy as he will be going home. This is a great challenge that many may have not understood and as time goes by, there is a possibility of change among mount Kenya leaders. Without the support of the deputy president, the incumbent president would have not won the last two general elections and this makes him to also return an hand to his deputy.
Being that the Jubilee party still exist and the deputy president still remains also member, this is a clear indication that the deputy president still receives support from the party and the UDA will just be a party in Jubilee come 2022. Hence high chances the incumbent president will support his deputy.
