A few days after ditching Azimio-OKA to join Kenya Kwanza of Deputy President William Ruto, governors Dr Alfred Mutua and Amason Kingi of Machakos and Kilifi respectively, have been warned by a section of Kenya Kwanza leaders.
The duo has been welcomed to Kenya Kwanza but vividly told to drop their demands for them to enjoy a soft stay in the Kenya Kwanza coalition.
Kenya Kwanza leaders that have sounded the warning are from Machakos County, where DP Ruto took his hustler politics on Tuesday.
While DP Ruto was in Tala where he was hosted by Dr Mutua, UDA Party chairman Jostone Muthama was conspicuously missing.
Nation reports that the former Senator was holding another UDA meeting in his home, where a warning to Mutua and Kingi originated from.
Muthama was hosting Kenya Kwanza presidential campaign organizers in the region when DP Ruto was in Tala, after the meeting, Mutham did not even address the media, instead, the media was addressed by his team led by Former Sports Kenya Chairman Fred Muteti, former Kathiani MP Kaindi and Mr Moses Banda, who sent warnings
"We welcome all partners to the Kenya Kwanza Alliance but remind them not to come with demands but to respect us because we are like the first wife," said Mr Moses Banda who is the resource mobilization coordinator in the team, as reported by Nation.
