The Azimio flagbear Hon Raila Odinga has been receiving huge boosts each day ahead of the August presidential elections. His popularity and political strategies have left the Kenya Kwanza team in alleged confusion. More than 25 political parties have already joined the Azimio camp and declared to support the ODM leader who is making his fifth attempt in clinching to power. Many of Raila's foot soldiers have intensified grassroots voter mobilisation as he continues to receive support from UDA, ANC defectors. Hon. Raila's clever moves have left Ruto's presidential bid in a limbo.
Raila has also had a working influential team who have acted as his powerful gatekeepers. Some of them have been Suna East Member of Parliament, Junet Mohamed, Winnie Odinga among others. Most of this powerful leaders have been operating behind the scenes. Deputy President William Ruto on the other hand has been making claims that many Azimio candidates could as well split his votes.
