Today was an historic day for women of this country after swearing in of Justice Martha Koome as the next Chief Justice. Justice Martha Koome is the first woman Chief Justice in Kenya. Various leaders have congratulated the new Chief Justice and wished her all the best in her leadership.
Kitui Governor Hon. Charity Ngilu was among leaders who congratulated Justice Martha Koome. The woman Governor wished Justice Martha Koome all the best in her new assignment. The vocal governor said that sky is no longer the limit.
Governor Charity Ngilu said that the next for the girl child is Attorney general position and leadership of parliament. She also said that if the boy child is not alert they will take the presidential seat in 2022. The governor said this sentiments in her official Facebook page while congratulating Chief Justice Martha Koome.
Governor Charity Ngilu has been advocating for girl child for a long time. She had earlier predicted that the next Chief Justice will be a woman.
