On Friday, Embattled Deputy president William Ruto was in Nandi county where he took his 2022 campaigns. Ruto took the opportunity to trash President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga for what he alleged as forcing BBI on people.
" Those who are forcing BBI on Kenyans are just dictators that have no place in our society. The process of amending the constitution should be voluntary. " said a charged William Ruto.
"There are some people that think am going to lead this or that brigade, I want to tell them, Am ready to use either the current constitution or the amended one if a referendum is passed, the will of Kenyans must be respected."
"I know you have heard that there are so many plots being plotted, Kenyans will not be decided by a few people, this is our country and everyone must be listened to." said a furious Ruto.
William Ruto made it clear that he is not interested in leading a "No" brigade saying he will respect the will of the people. According to Ruto,he is only focused on succeeding Uhuru Kenyatta so as to change lives of struggling Kenyans.
