Bungoma Governor Kenneth has received reports from human resources, pending bills, and scholarships.

Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka received reports today from three task forces he established as part of his first executive order. Human resources, pending bills, and scholarships were among the three task forces.

The scholarship task force, chaired by Ferdinand Nabiswa, was expected to produce exact numbers of beneficiaries, qualification criteria, budgetary allocations, and actual fee balances for beneficiaries, among other things.

The task force on human resources, chaired by lawyer Amos Makokha, was expected to identify casuals who won a court case against the county, confirm the exact numbers of county staff, total number of county staff, confirm the statutory deductions of county workers and their state of remittance, among other things.

Similarly, the pending bills task force, chaired by CPA Rashid Simiyu, was supposed to produce an actual list of pending bills, as well as a record of the work done and description, as well as obtain evidence of work done and goods delivered, as well as physical verification, among other things.

"The report is already with us and we assure you we will make it public next week," He said.

He added that the details of the report were shocking and will change the way things have been done in the county. "The report will streamline the way things should be done, we must correct and bring sanity to our county ," explained Lusaka.
