" Now let's get back to work. All I ask from Nairobians, is your support and prayers as we embark on this journey together. I'm committed to transforming, building and elevating Nairobi County in the few months remaining to the election. God Bless Nairobi, God Bless Kenya. " Kananu said.
Kananu's swearing in has been made possible after the court declined Mike Sonko's submission that she should not succeed him as governor without any election.
Kananu now comes in handy to work with NMS Director, General Mbadi who was given the mandate by president Kenyatta to assist the county government in delivering quality services to Kenyans.
Kananu is expected to serve Nairobi for the remaining number of months before the 2022 General elections.
