Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege has once again reiterated her support for ODM leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid for August.
She is among the Mt Kenya leaders who have decided to go against the grain and support Raila, in a region he was until recently considered unwanted.
She on Tuesday accompanied the former Prime Minister to Kiambu County, where the leader met area politicians allied to him and his candidacy.
In a tweet, she holds that Raila will be the one occupying State House after the elections, saying that his candidature is one that's impossible to halt.
"Beautiful day it was as the 5th met with grassroot leaders and Azimio aspirants from Kiambu County at Windsor Hotel. Raila Odinga 's journey to State is an idea whose time has come," she says.
Raila used the meeting at Windsor to urge the leaders to help him with his campaigns by popularizing him among their supporters at the local level.
He also has the support of President Uhuru Kenyatta, who has began campaigning for him after settling on him as his preffered successor.
But he is facing an uphill task getting the Mt Kenya vote, thanks to the activities of Deputy President William Ruto, who is also in the race for the top seat.
He was in Laikipia and Kirinyaga on Monday, where he also met allied leaders, led by area governor and his Campaign Manager Ndiritu Muriithi.
