After picking 29 year old as his deputy, Isaac Ruto went around the county introducing her to excited voters. Taking her to her home in Kapletundo ward in the Sotik sub-county, the youthful DG hopeful was welcomed with music and dance.
Her family and neighbors were proud claiming that, they too had their own "Toto". They heaped praises on CCM gubernatorial aspirant Isaac Ruto for considering their daughter for the position. They vowed to mobilize and site for her.
While unveiling her, Isaac Ruto said the time for women leadership was ripe and his move to appoint her was not out of coincidence but intentional to ensure the young are brought out to the world of politics and leadership.
"As one way of empowering and giving a leadership platform to the future generation, today am glad to announce that I have picked 29-year-old Doris Chepkoech cheborge as my running mate in the coming elections," Isaac Ruto said.
Miss Doris holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Sociology (second class honors) from Egerton University.
