The majority leader of the Kenyan senate Samuel Poghisio has poked holes at the newfound relationship between Deputy President William Ruto and Amani National Congress party leader Musalia Mudavadi.
The West Pokot county senator has revealed that the friendship could bring friction at the United Democratic Alliance should it be made clear to him that the William Ruto-led party has no interest in him.

Ruto and Mudavadi are expected to work together for the August 9 general elections but Poghisio feels it could be an interesting relationship since there is no mention of Mudavadi in the UDAs formula.
According to Poghisio, Mudavadi should be wary of a speech made by Mwaura who stated that their interests were clear and that they will not be working for Mudavadi's interest which casts further doubts on the position he will be offered in UDA.
