Homabay senator has reiterated that his defense of the four commissioner's who have now been duvbed "Cherera four " is not based on the fact that they are from his tribe. He has also said that it is not because of the fact that they belong to IEBC or the fact that they are friends of his friends. He says that his defense is based on the fact that he believes by defending them, he will be protecting institutions and entrenching the rule of law.
He was speaking on Citizen TV on News Night show where he nade his arguments. Kajwang feels that Kenya Kwanza side are acting theym way they are doing towards the commisoners in a bid to solidify their "capture" of the commission. He says that the ruling party wants to deal with all those who were against them and that the ruling party seems to have a-predetermined opinion even before the commission of inquiry acts on the other commissioners cases.
