Wajackoyah: We Are Confident We Will Win The Presidential Election

George Wajackoyah spices up Kenya election with marijuana and snake venom - BBC News

Prof. George Wajackoyah; the presidential candidate for the Roots Party, has professed confidence that he will win the position once the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) issues an official declaration on the matter.

Even though the results have continously suggested that Raila Odinga and William Ruto of Kenya Kwanza have a sizable lead over Wajackoyah, the party is still certain that the pro-marijuana professor would be elected Kenya's next president after the completed vote tallying and the winner is announced today.

The party's secretary general; Adam Kadernani said that the first round of voting was conducted by the general public and the IEBC; the body constitutionally tasked with tallying the votes and declaring a winner, conducted the second phase. They are convinced that they will prevail through a legitimate, fair and free process.

In addition, he advised Kenyans not to let politics divide them while they awaited the formal announcement from the IEBC and to remain patient and keep the peace.

Kadernani stated that Prof. George Wajackoyah; their presidential candidate, asks Kenyans to uphold tranquility and give the IEBC the time it needs to count the votes. Following the formal pronouncement by the IEBC, their candidate will make a speech to the nation.
