Kibicho Reveals Where he Plans to Move to After Ruto Sacked Him

Former Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho has suggested that he will be moving to Kirinyaga County, following his removal from the position.

Kibicho is among the PSs who lost their seats after he entry of President William Ruto, and has been replaced with Raymond Omollo, now his successor.

On Monday, he said that he will henceforth be based in Kagio, remarks he made while handing over to the former Lake Basin Development Authority MD.

In a joking tone, he said that while he won't be interfering with Omollo's job, the new PS should feel free to buy him tea whenever they meet in Kagio.

“That however does not mean that (Ukinipata Kagio usinunue chai) if you find me at Kagio, you won’t buy me tea. We know now you are the one in charge and therefore I will give you 105 per cent space to be the one to spearhead your vision and direct these people," he is quoted by The Daily Nation.

Kibicho, one of the most powerful people in former President Uhuru Kenyatta regime, made the remarks during the handover event at Harambee House.

Omollo praised Kibicho for helping him overcome his vetting in parliament, revealing that he is actually the one who prepared him for the entire exercise.

“We sat in this building a few weeks ago and you were able to take me through some of the most important things that I needed to know, as I was going to face the panel in Parliament," he said.

He also promised to work in harmony with the civil servants he has inherited from Kibicho and colleagues from.other departments.
