Western Leaders have been angry with the head of state for allegedly sidelining the western region from appointing the 34 Judges. Luhya Leaders have said that they have learned people who are comittied to uphold the values of the constitution.
However, the president bypassed them as always and went to other regions. According to luhya Leaders, everytime the president wakes up he goes to Nyanza, during election period, he should also pypass western and go to Nyanza.
"Kila wakati ukiamka unaenda Nyanza, ukue wakati wa Kura Pia , enda tu Nyanza."
The president in his own capacity has disappointed a huge following in Kenya irrespective of the social status. Western region is the second largest after central in terms of population and basically has large numbers of register voters.
Sidelining western Kenyan in crucial government positions means that he will not consider them in 2022. However, politics is game changer and we would expect more changes prior to 2022. Watch the video here by western Kenya Leaders lamenting.
