"Mimi Nimewahi Kulala Njaa" DP Ruto Reveals While Giving a Speech in Kilifi County

While giving a speech at Vitengeni village, Ganze Constituency in Kilifi County today Friday 15 of October, the deputy president informed the residents that he is looking forward to ensuring that Kenyans don't suffer from hunger and famine.

He gave a testimony revealing that he once slept on an empty stomach and that is why he understands the pain of lacking food unlike other leaders who come from rich families.

He said, "Mimi Nimewahi kulala njaa na naelewa. Unajua kuna viongozi wengi wanasikia kulala njaa lakini hawajawahi, ndio sababu haya matatizo hayaishi. Mimi nasema hii county yetu ya Kilifi tunafaa kuweka pesa mahali pa kuzalisha chakula."

According to DP, there is no way our country will be successful when people are hungry because such people cannot work. He promised to increase food production in Ganze Constituency by providing the residents with seeds, fertilizer and water.

Ruto told his audience that problems to do with hunger would have been solved a long time ago but Raila came into the government and brought a lot of confusion. He promised to stand with them once he is elected as Kenya's president next year.
