Martin Kamotho 43 years, is a Kenyan Citizen, he came to limelight in 2017 General Election, after he made headlines when he was pictured carrying ‘githeri’ in a transparent polythene bag while waiting to vote during the August 2017 General Elections. Most known him as Githeri man. Kamotho's family. 

H me is a married man, even though he parted way with the mother of his daughter sometimes back.
Githeri man was invited to State House towards the end of 2017 to receive Head of State Commendation (HSC), Kamotho came back home with a cool Sh100, 000 token. Furthermore, he was dressed in navy blue suits courtesy of President Uhuru’s stylist who offered to dress him every August until 2022 to mark how Kamotho brought much needed relief.
