The Political bigwigs are traversing the country sharing their agendas with the electrotes. The presidential race is highly watched not only in Kenya but across the African continent, the deputy president William Ruto and the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga are seen as the front runner in the race.
Since 2002 general election,the government has been always formed by a coalition,NARC took over from KANU in 2002.
Due to divisions in Jubilee party,the deputy president come with UDA, the now has huge followers in the country. On several occasions,he affirmed that UDA is a national party and no need to form coalitions.
As the general election beacons,the deputy president has changed the tune and opened doors for small parties for negotiations. This comes barely a few days after the Iron lady, Martha karua insisted that they will not fold their parties at all.
