Former Bomet county governor Honourable Isaac Ruto is now positioning himself to win back the gubernatorial seat in 2022 after losing to Jubilee party candidate and the late Governor Joyce Laboso in 2017.
Since his recent declaration to support Deputy President William Ruto ahead of the much anticipated 2022 general elections, the former powerful minister is now gaining ground for his major comeback.
During the 2017 general elections, Isaac Ruto who had already formed his own party Chama Cha Mashinani(CCM) after parting ways with Ruto's URP party was supporting the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition which its Presidential candidate was Raila Odinga.
His recent 'Handshake' with Deputy President William Ruto brought joy to the residents of Bomet county whereby he had been highly thought to have gone to political oblivion.

It is now emerging that the CCM party leader is focussing on winning back 'the lost ground' whereby he is seeking to solidify his 2022 comeback.
Among the programs the former county boss is using include;
1.Attending Fund Raising
Known for his kind heart of giving, Isaac Ruto has now intensified his harambee programs across the country.
This is a major method commonly applied by politicians to win majority of its voters.
Being a Christian, he has ensured that he is not only attending his Church alone,but also making schedules to visit other churches across the county.
He will be seeking to unseat incumbent Governor Dr Hillary Barchok.
