"Usicheze Na Sisi My Friend" Joho Tells Police Boss After Raila's Supporters Were Arrested in Likoni

Joho talks to police officers in the past

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho has this evening demanded the release from police cell a number of Raila Odinga's supporters who were arrested while attending his rally in Likoni.

Raila and his Azimio-One Kenya Alliance team toured the Southern part of the coast, particularly Kwale County where they held a series of meetings.

While returning to Mombasa Island, the group made a stopover at Likoni where a huge crowd of their supporters had turned up.

Police officers from the nearby Likoni Police Station are said to have arrested some of the supporters who had turned up to listen to Raila.

Just before they would leave the place, Joho was forced to intervene to have Raila's supporters set free.

"Wewe mkubwa was kituo cha polisi, nasikia umeshika vijana wetu tafadhali, waachilie sahi sahi my friend, usicheze an sisi my friend, watu wamekuja mkutano wa baba an unawashika," Joho is heard giving the order in this video (from last 1 minute), which loosely translates to

(Mr OCS, I am told you have arrested some youths, set them free now, do not play with us my friend, people have come to Raila's rally and you want to arrest them)
