Ruto Pauses Speech After Man Climbs On Top of His Vehicle, What He Asked DP Left Residents Elated

Deputy president William Ruto brought businesses at Embali Town, Kibwezi South constituency in Makueni County to a standstill as he winded up his to day visit to Lower Eastern on Tuesday 21st September.

While addressing the crowd, the second in command critised the Jubilee government for failing to create job opportunities to the youths. He said that it is the responsibility of every government to ensure that the jobless are absorbed in the respective fields.

"I want to tell the youths that this country is yours and it is the responsibility of any government to ensure that right policies to create jobs. We must stop this nonsense of creating positions to create jobs for the millions of youths in the country," Ruto said.

"The the next government we are going to make is yours and you must make the right decision. Get your priorities right, whether you want to elect leaders who create positions or who create jobs," the DP added before a man walked through the crowd, past his security and climbed on top of his vehicle.

"Ni mara yangu ya kwanza kupanda juu ya gari ya mkubwa; meaning it is my first time to climb on top of a Deputy president's vehicle," the man Ruto only identified as a businessman with something to say told the crowd, sending them into laughter.

The businessman then told Ruto that he could not be standing on the road where he was if it was a rainy season. He asked the second in command to to consider ensuring proper drainage in the area once elected president.

He also told Ruto that the area lacked a University and it is the wish of the region that they have one where their kids can easily access the university education cheaply.

"Hawa watu wote wako hapa wamekosa university na tunataka shule ata ya kuenda na baiskeli, unasumbua sana watu wa hapa," he said sending the residents into jubilation, which losely traslates to;

"We lack a close university and a school where our children can access using a bicycle."

Ruto, after taking back the microphone, replied to the man's request in simple answer; "wewe boss husijali - Don't worry" before continuing with his speech.
