Day in day out, the political scene appears to be advancing towards a major showdown.
The Political heavyweights have their gloves off, ready to take on their competitors with brimming rage. The battle pitting MPs, Senators or even governors is as heated as that pitting presidential contenders.
Ruto allies long expressed discontent towards Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka Presidential bid. They don't render him as much of a threat, however, his declarations towards Ruto push them to the wall ready to react.
Former Bungoma senator echoed the above statement when he termed the presidential race as a battle between Ruto and Raila and that other presidential contenders are seeking prestige knowing very well they'll fall short in their quest.
Lawmaker Kimani Ichungwa has criticized Kalonzo for talking ill against the deputy president. He went on to assert that the former vice president is empty on agenda and that's why he's sending shots towards Ruto in order to remain relevant.
