Even after William Ruto was declared the winner of the 2022 general election by the Judiciary, thanks to Chief Justice Martha Koome and IEBC Chairperson Wafula Chebukati, Raila Odinga persisted in disputing the results, claiming that he was the rightful winner.
Since then, Raila Odinga has been providing orders to his foot soldiers in the Nyanza region, and Baba has been proclaiming that his win was stolen and that is why he does not recognize William Ruto as the head of state.
But when Kenyans learned of Raila Odinga's most recent directive today, they were rendered speechless.
As he asked his supporters in the Nyanza region to manifest and formally welcome President William Ruto to the area, the leader of the Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance apparently changed his mind.
According to reports, Baba advised the county leaders in the counties of Homabay and Siaya to welcome President William Ruto and collaborate with him on development initiatives for the local communities.
