Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has urged Kenyans to skip the Jamhuri Day celebrations at the Nyayo Stadium, which will be led by President William Ruto, and instead attend his rally that day at the Jacaranda grounds in Embakasi East.
According to the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement party, there is no reason for them to attend the event; instead, they will congregate at Jacaranda for their own gathering.
He stated that there will be live bands and cultural performances as part of the celebrations at Jacaranda to honor those who fought for Kenya's freedom, which are currently taking place.
