MP Hon Professor Adhiambo making her complaint to the speaker on Wednesday evening.

The speaker chairing the committee of the whole House of the National Assembly was on Wednesday evening forced to apologise to a woman Member of Parliament after he made some remarks that had made her feel affected.

"Honourable Oduol, I have nothing against you. Why would I fault you yet you have been a great debater on the issue that is being discussed. I would be last person to castigate you."the chairperson noted.

His apology came after he singled her out as having been consistent saying that she had blamed him for not giving her a chance to contribute on what was going on.

"Before I continue, let me make this clear honourable members, you cannot quarrel the chairperson that he is not giving you the opportunity, I have about 30 members who want to contribute."the chairperson noted.

However, the nominated Member of Parliament noted that she had been aggrieved by the sentiments of the honourable chairperson.

"Honourable chairperson, I think it is not fair on my end to put my name on record as having been complaining yet I was following your own guidelines."Professor Adhiambo Oduol noted.

The nominated Member of Parliament Honourable Prof Jacquiline Adhiambo Oduol had noted that the chairperson had used sone terms to discredit her yet he had given some guidelines earlier on how the Members of Parliament would take part in the deliberations.
