Waiguru in a Kiosk Elicit Reaction as Former Ally Climbs the Mountain

A photo of Kirinyaga Governor Anne Mumbi serving tea to netizens in a makeshift hotel has attracted reactions form Kenyans this as the country gears up towards 2022 General Elections.

Waiguru who is eyeing reelection for the top County seat has of late been deriving strategies on how to woo the voter towards winning their support, recently hinting at contesting on a United democratic Alliance (UDA) ticket a party linked to Deputy President William Ruto.

In the photos, Waiguru is seen serving and enjoying a cup of tea in one of the humble restaurants. Kenyans would not distance from sharing their feel on the photos.

According to Mawirah Morris reaction “this is the time to be taken as fools (kubebwa ufala) more than usual. If they had served us thisway they wouldn’t be pretending to be humble this time.” This is directly transalated from his post “Ndio ile time ya kubebwa ufala more than usual... Wangetuserve hivi na kutushughulikia vile inafaa hawangekuwa wanafanyi hii upuzi ya "kuserve tea" na kujifanya "humble”.

“These politicians have to get new strategies of deceiving wanjikus. These lack of creativity is really depressing. Borrow a leaf of creativity from creative Terrance,” Lucy Omari said in astonishment.

Politics has once again brought politicians back to the people in search for another ticket to vanish for 4 years, a phenomenon termed “very interesting times” by Kiprotich Arap Bett.

Some of the reactions are funny. Evans Nucci resorted to pleading with God to “Send rain like that of Noah or sulphur fire like that of sodom and ghomorah” because he says “they have started being humble.”

As Waiguru was busy serving tea, Raila embarked on a mission of climb the mountain traversing the counties of Laikipia, Nyandarua, Nyeri, Muranga and Kiambu. The visit began with a night strategy meeting in Nanyuki.

Jame on Twitter: "This is Kenol... Not on a market day, no accident... The people had to listen to the 5th Raila Odinga. Baba climbing the mountain... Githurai is next #INAWEZEKANA… https://t.co/gjTrwmZeFb"

The former Prime Minister and Presidential hopeful made stopovers in Naromoru, Karatina, Kenol in Murang’a before finishing at Githurai.

He shall be meeting business moguls today at Safari Park in an attempt to share his plan and gift for the Mt Kenya region as he tries to win their heart and support for the top seat in 2022.
