Citizen TV Senior Political reporter Francis Gachuri has revealed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati is set for the big announcement today latest 1pm.
Speaking to Citizen TV, Francis Gachuri who has been camping at the Bomas of Kenya since the vomiting process started revealed that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has completed verifying all Forms 34A and Forms 34B, six days after Kenyans went to the ballot.
According to Gachuri, at the time of going to the press, all the votes of all the 290 constituencies, as well as the diaspora constituency, had been verified and validated. The other 32 constituencies were meanwhile only awaiting declaration.
After Forms 34A and 34B have been validated and declared, what follows the processing of Form 34C.
“Latest about 1 o’clock we should be knowing who President Uhuru Kenyatta’s successor is,” added Mr Gachuri.
