The End Is Near For Justice Pauline Nyamweya As Petition For Her Removal Is Filed

High Court Chief Justice Pauline Nyamweya seems to be on the verge of losing her position as a petitioner has today written to the Judicial Service Commission accusing her of incompetence and impartiality.

The petitioner Florence Kanyua Lichoro who wants Justice Nyamweya removed from office, accuses her of bias, gross misconduct, biased rulings, and also failing to discharge her judicial duties.

Adding to the petition she has also attached her ruling and decision which she claims Nyamweya made in contrary with the constitution of Kenya. The law of Kenya requires judges to make decisions based on the objective criteria but the petitioner now claims that Nyamweya made hers based on prejudice and biasness.

According to Citizen TV report, the petition cites numerous cases where Nyamweya does acted out of the law, one includes her decision in a case involving the Parliamentary Service Commission and the Public Procurement Administrative Review Board, in which according to the petitioner, the judge failed to issue a ruling within the statutory 45-day period.

I the JSC approves the petition the Pauline Nyamweya will be investigated and if found guilty action will be taken.
