The Nairobi’s top seat was left vacant after the Senate approved the impeachment of Governor Sonko who now appears to have joined the Tanga Tanga and Hustler Movement to strategize a quick comeback to the political arena in the country!
Candidates expected to be fielded by their parties includes; Bishop Margaret Wanjiru of the UDA, Dennis Waweru of Jubilee and Miguna of Thirdway Alliance Party. Some prominent names might also be in the ballot such as Former Kiambu Governor, Ferdinand Waititu.
Well, the SC decided to throw in his fellow SC, Abdikadir for the Gubernatorial race in an online poll to see how much votes he can gather on Twitter.
The online poll was contested among 4 candidates and surprisingly Abdikadir managed to bag the 2nd spot after UDA's Wanjiru in reference to the votes counted within a specific period of time.
