A photo of Malindi Member of Parliament, Hon. Aisha Jumwa standing in the middle of a crowd while trying to catch the attention of outgoing Kilifi Gov. Amason Kingi has elicited mixed reactions. Hon. Aisha Jumwa can be seen struggling to talk to Gov. Kingi who is on top of his Land Cruiser in what looks like a political rally.
Aisha Jumwa has been engaged in supremacy battle with Kilifi Gov. Amason Kingi who has his own candidate, George Kithi in the Gubernatorial race. Hon. Aisha has insisted that Kilifi County is a UDA zone while Amason Kingi and George Kithi insist that it's a PAA zone.
Popular Political Commentators, Gideon Kitheka has posted the photo in his official Tweeter account. Mr. Gideon has claimed that Aisha Jumwa was being treated right when she was Raila's ally compared to now. Aisha Jumwa from the photo seemed to be stranded as she tries to engage her biggest Political competitor, Amason Kingi who is advocating for his own Party of PAA despite being a Coalition Partner in Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
Politicians are busy campaigning for their respective elective seats so as to stand a chance of winning the seats. The most competitive political post in Kenya has been the Gubernatorial seat which is being eyed by veteran politicians and wealthy individuals.
