Yesterday in the evening, reports emerged that the president of the republic of Kenya, Dr William Samoe Ruto has made two major appointments on his goverment just some few days after he unveiled his new cabinet.
As reported by some sources, Ruto appointed hon Josphat Nanok who served as UDA's director of campaigns as the statehouuse comptroller. Nanok will now be in charge of all the activities taking place in the statehouuse. Nanok previously served as the governor of Turkana county where he was elected through the ODM party but he later on defected to UDA.
The second appointment was that of hon Felix Koskei where Ruto appointed him as his Chief of staff. Koskei will now be succeeding hon Davis Chirchir who was appointed by Ruto as the minister of energy. Koskei previously served as a minister during Uhuru's first term. Other appointments that Dr William Ruto is expected to make is that of the solicitor general and the principal secretaries where his loyalists are expected to be given the first priority.
