Former Prime Minister Raila has today told leaders from Mount Kenya who had gathered for a meeting in Kiambu County that he is now going to carry out campaigns on his own.
While delivering his speech, Raila has openly said that he is doing so because he is the project for President Uhuru Kenyatta as many of his opponents have been alleging.

He then went on to urge leaders that they should work together to ensure they have climbed Mount Kenya which simply meant to gain the support of people from the region.
"Mimi naleta salamu kutoka kwa Uhuru Kenyatta mnapokea? Mnapokea? Sasa mimi nasema nitaingia pekee nitafanya campaign kwanza pekee yangu. Sitaki mimi hapana project ya Uhuru. Mkiniona mumeona Uhuru sawasawa? Lakini mimi nakuja pale kama baba sawasawa na mimi nataka nyinyi nyote mbebe bendera ya ukombozi ya tatu tunapanda naye mlima mpaka tufike nayo kwenye kilele ya mlima," said former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
