The 'sultan, governor 001' as he is commonly known to his unwavering supporters, the Mombasa county governor who doubles up as the ODM Party deputy leader Ali Hassan Joho is today marking his special day.
The flamboyant second term serving governor is marking his birthday today and Kenyans can't keep quiet. Many have wished him goodwill, heartfelt messages to congratulate him on turning another year older.
The ODM Party through it's official twitter handle wished the man attracted to finer things in life another year to achieve his great ambitions.
Joho is Raila's pointman in the coastal region and this has made him gain Raila's inner circle. He has however openly disclosed that he will run for the top most office on the land come the next general elections.
His ambitions to run for the presidency has sent the ODM Party back to the drawing table since there are possibilities that it's leader Raila Odinga might be on the ballot next year. The two are set to face off in party nominations.
