Gatundu South Member of parliament has expressed his gratitude to Deputy President William Ruto for visiting hin in the hospital. Ruto was accompanied by Mogotio member of parliament Hon. Philip Koech and Mumias East MP Ho. Ben Washiali.

Ruto's Visit to Kuria comes amidst speculations that the two are not in agreement on the issue that Mt Kenya leaders should ditch their parties and join UDA. This visit however, indicates that the two are still in good terms and great friends.
Kuria is currently hospitalized after he underwent surgery on his legs. Various leaders among them former Deputy President Kalonzo Musyoka and NARC Kenya leader Martha Karua have visited him.
