Deputy President William Ruto's camp has been holding a series of rallies across various parts of the country to popularize his bid for the presidency.
Senator Irungu Kang'ata has jumped to Tangatanga's defense as he held a free medical camp in Kihatia, Kiharu Constituency stating that Tangatanga does not believe in handouts.
Kang'ata has defended Tangatanga against criticism by their competitors saying that their camp believes in treating people so that they are empowered to work for themselves.
"We don't believe in handouts. We believe in treating people so that they are empowered to work for themselves. Free medical camp at Kahatia Kiharu Constituency today," Senator Irungu Kang'ata said.
Due to the high number if people attending DP Ruto's rallies across the country, many have often alleged that Tangatanga gives people handouts to turn up for the Second in Command's events.
