Kenya is a sovereign state that is under the leadership of president Uhuru Kenyatta who is the chief commander of the armed forces.

The parliament committee has today refused to approve the bill seeking to reduce the price of the commodities such as gambling and betting equipments, gas refilling, alcohol, cigarettes and beauty items.

These are bad news to the bar owners, gambling companies and gas refilling companies as they are expected to dig deep into their pockets to full fill the citizens demands.

On the good side, the parliament committee has approved the reduction of price in basic commodities such as maize flour, wheat flour, motorbikes, biscuits, ice creams and chocolate.

This comes when the economy has shot up in the recent days making ordinary citizens to dig deeper into their pockets to fulfill their demands.
In conclusion, what are your views regarding the move to increase the price of cooking gas and alcohol in the country. Feel free to comment in our comments platform.
