Big Win to Ruto as Kieleweke MP Joins UDA, Ruto Delivers a Powerful Speech in UDA Campaigns

The deputy president, William Ruto, has today delivered a powerful speech to Rurii ward residents during the UDA campaigns. Ruto spoke through a phone call that was made by the Mathira MP, Rigathi Gachagua, who was also in these campaigns.

"I plead with you my people of Nyandarua to elect our UDA candidate. Let's have our second born of the hustler nation to be from Nyandarua. Kindly turn out in big numbers on Tuesday and make a bold decision," said Ruto.

Rigathi made a phone call to Ruto and used the microphone to amplify the sound such that every resident was able to hear the speech by the second in command. The residents assured the deputy president that they will elect Francis Muraya of UDA come Tuesday.

In the same meeting, Ruto's camp got a huge boost after Oljororok MP, Michael Muchira, ditched the handshake team to rejoin Tangatanga. Muchira used to be in Tangatanga but he was swept by the BBI wave where he joined the handshake team.

"After retracing my steps, I have realized that it is good for me to come back home. After yesterday's decision by the high court, I have decided to come back to where I belong. Just know that from today I'm one of the UDA family. Kindly my people of Rurii ward, let's elect our fellow hustler, Francis Muraya, to lead us for the remaining term," alluded Muchira.

The decision by the high court seems to act in every way as a huge boost to William Ruto in his quest for the 2022 presidency. However, the dynamics in politics cannot be ignored and only time will tell.

Francis Muraya of UDA will be facing the Jubilee candidate on Tuesday. Other leaders who attended today campaign rallies for UDA include the Nyandarua women representative, Faith Gitau, and several other MCAs. Click to Watch video.
