According to the latest petition filed in the court by a concern Citizen Rajab Menza Shikara and Daniel Chengo Kahindi, they want
the Malindi member of parliament Hon. Aisha Jumwa disqualified from Contesting in the August 9 elections because of lack of requisite education.
The documents in our possession, show she (Jumwa) is a Form Two dropout which leaves more questions than answers,” the petitioners claim.
The papers tabled in court, show that Jumwa completed her basic education in 1991 at Takaungu Primary School and then proceeded to Ganze Secondary School where she dropped out in Form 2 due to lack of school fees.
This could stop her from vying for the Kilifi Gubernatorial race in this year's general elections if this allegations is anything to go about.
The petitioners want the court to restrain IEBC from processing the nomination papers of Aisha Jumwa ahead of the Gubernatorial race.
It's now a matter of wait and see what happens in the coming days if she will prove her innocent or not.
