Secretary-General of the ODM Party, Edwin Sifuna has come to comment and in particular defend Suna East Member of Parliament, Junet Mohammed after a video went viral of him proclaiming that when Raila Odinga clinches the presidency, the government belongs to the people of Nyanza.
The video has been received with disgust by many as many have been displeased with the way Junet conveyed the message publicly knowing it may cost the support Baba is receiving from different regions.
Via his Twitter account, Sifuna posted a video of himself addressing a crowd and clarified on the sensitive remarks that Junet made. In the video, he said that people nowadays don’t understand jokes and has led them to be quick in judging Junet and Raila Odinga’s camp.
Sifuna stated that June was just making jokes and people should not take him seriously because what he said he did not mean it. He went ahead and said that the government of Raila Odinga if formed, will not only be for the people of Nyanza but will be all-inclusive to all the regions of constituting Kenya.
