ODM leader Raila Odinga has opened up on what transpired in Kondele issuing fresh details. Speaking in an interview with Musyi FM, Raila Odinga has informed that he does not want propaganda to be used to smear his name with dirt and that he finds no reason why he would prevent DP Ruto from vising Kondele.
According to Raila Odinga, he has said that DP Ruto is a Kenyan like any other and that he is free to visit every part of this country disclosing that the ODM Kisumu branch had issued a statement saying that the second-in-command was free to visit and endear himself to the voters.
Our ODM Party Kisumu Branch had issued a statement informing that DP Ruto was free to visit the region and sell his ideologies. People were even warned not to cause chaos," Raila Odinga has said.
Adding that "Mimi sio mtoto mdogo niende kuorganize watu warushie Ruto mawe, kwa sababu gani? Ruto ni kitu kidogo sana kwangu" which translates to "I am not a small kid to go and mobilize people to come and disrupt DP Ruto's meeting. For what reason? Ruto is a small thing to me.
