Narok County residents have been urged to vote for Ruto allies from top to bottom in the forthcoming general elections. Speaking in Emurua Dikir Constituency where UDA Gubernatorial aspirant Patrick Ole Ntuntu had been accompanied by the area MP Johanna Ngeno, Ole Ntuntu said that the whole of Narok County is going to vote for William Ruto to ensure he becomes victorious in the elections.
Ole Ntuntu said that William Ruto is currently leading in all opinion polls by around 51% and that satisfies the constitutional requirements for one to be declared as president. He added that one should also emerge victorious in 24 counties or more, and that is why Narok County is going to vote for him. The gubernatorial aspirant further said that it was the electorate who is going to decide the winner. He also added to his speech that they are going to defeat Raila Odinga very early.
“William Ruto anaongoza kwa polls zote ako na karibu 51.5%. Na huyu mtu wa kitendawili ako na 41%. Ndio mtu aweze kuwa President ni lazima awe na 50+1, halafu lazima ashinde county 24. Na hii county yetu ya Narok ni ya William Ruto na tulisema lazima ashinde. Ndio aweze kutangazwa kuwa President. Na ni lazima ashinde na team yake yote kwa sababu hatutaki serikali nusu. Huyu kitendawili tutamshinda saa mbili asubuhi,” he stated.
He also attacked his main competitor Ole Kenta accusing him of saying that he did not want votes from the Kalenjin community to win the elections. He said that himself he was championing for unity of all communities. The hopeful governor also urged the youths to vote for him since he had chosen a 29 year old to be his deputy and therefore all the needs of the youths will be well taken care of in his government.
Ole Ntuntu further promised that he is going to bring Ward Development Funds to wards to be used in development projects. He further promised that he is going to add 1 billion shillings to the funds promised by William Ruto to be used in helping the less-fortunate in the society.
“Nafikiri juzi mlisikia William Ruto kwa runinga akizungumzia ile agenda ako nayo kwa Kenya mzima. Na akasema kwamba atatoa 50 billion shillings ambayo kila county itapewa 1 billion ili kusaidia wale watu ambao hawajiwezi kimaisha. Na mimi kama governor nitatoa billion moja ngine ili iwe mbili,” he added.
