Kenyans are expecting to hold another presidential election in a year. Most leaders especially the national icons have commenced strategizing on the best way to use to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta. Uhuru had been leading the country for two terms since 2012 with his deputy president William Ruto.
So far, only Dp Ruto has declared his ambition to succeed Uhuru after forming the United Democratic alliance party. Ruto has been campaigning around the country convincing people to support the hustler nation and his bottom-up economic model Agenda.
Raila Odinga on the other hand has not yet declared whether he will give the presidential race a fifth stab. The OKA alliance consisting of Musalia Mudavadi, Gideon Moi, Moses Wetangula, and Kalonzo Musyoka has not yet fielded their favorite candidate for the presidential race. However, Kalonzo and Mudavadi have been experiencing the pressure to vie for the seat and not supporting anyone. The pressure comes from their home residents who also want to enjoy power.
According to reports going viral online, on Tuesday 14 September, Kirinyaga county governor Ann Waiguru had a closed-door meeting with Kalonzo Musyoka. The details of the meeting are not yet known. This left people making guesses on what the Agenda of the meeting could be.
This comes days after Ann Waigutu started that he cannot vie for any seat again with the Jubilee ticket since the party is dead.
